The BA’s Monty Haas recently spoke with Rich Erwin, a Senior Investment Analyst/Portfolio Manager, on the benefits of donating appreciated securities. Use the audio controls below to hear Rich’s helpful advice.
During his early career, Rich worked for the Treasurer’s Department of The Mother Church serving as an investment analyst and portfolio manager in the Investment Division. He later managed his own independent registered investment advisory firm in Plano, Texas and led that organization for 30 years. In 2013 he sold that company to a larger firm, with which he continues to work as Senior Investment Analyst/Portfolio Manager. Rich is currently serving on the BA’s Board of Trustees.
