Do you have a desire to serve the healing mission of the BA, but you live too far away? The BA’s Commute & Stay option might be for you. It’s a program for employees and students who live in the region, but may have a long commute that would be cost and time prohibitive.

As a full-service hospitality facility, the BA can offer pricing to employees at a rate far less than hotels and restaurants. Nightly room fees are just $17.50 per night, and that includes free on-site parking, and free access to kitchens and laundry facilities.

Some employees bring their own groceries, or they are welcome to eat in the BA’s Dining Room for a subsidized rate of $5 for breakfast, $7 for lunch, and $10 for dinner.

“We are so grateful for all the dedicated workers who serve at the BA,” says HR Manager Gloria Richmond. “But we recognize that not everyone can pick up and move to Brookline, MA. The Commute & Stay option makes it easier for a greater number of people to consider using their talents to directly support our healing mission.”

The BA has a number of part-time job openings with a schedule that could be arranged for 2-3 days a week onsite such as Administrative Assistant, Reception Host, or Development Associate.

During hours off, the BA offers a place of refuge where employees can have a quiet place to study, play one of the many pianos on campus, take walks on the grounds, and enjoy being in a supportive atmosphere of like-minded associates.

To learn more about Commute & Stay and jobs available at the BA, reach out to Gloria Richmond, HR Manager: phone: 617-975-2523 or jobs@chbenevolent.org.

With the Commute & Stay option, the BA might be closer than you think!
